How many people are the tours designed for?
All tours are private and designed for small groups of 2–4 people. This ensures a personal experience, with plenty of space and flexibility to enjoy the day at your own pace
What’s included in the tour?
Every detail is taken care of—premium transport, a personal guide, pickup and drop-off, water, snacks, and blankets. All Signature Tours include lunch at a local restaurant. For customised tours, this can be replaced with a picnic at an additional cost. Some tours include breakfast or extra experiences, which will be listed in the itinerary
Can I customise my itinerary?
Absolutely! You can choose one of our thoughtfully designed Signature Tours or create a fully personalised itinerary based on your preferences. Just let us know what you love, and we’ll take care of the rest
Will we visit all the spots listed in the itinerary?
We always plan enough time to visit all the spots listed in the itinerary. However, sometimes we may adjust the route due to weather conditions or to ensure the best possible experience. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, we’re happy to skip or adjust stops so you can enjoy the day at your own comfort. Just let us know what feels right for you!
Will the guide accompany us on hikes, levadas, and other activities, or do we go alone?
Your guide will be with you at all times throughout the tour, including during hikes, levadas, and other activities—ensuring a seamless and enriching experience. However, if you prefer to explore certain parts on your own, just let us know, and we’ll adjust accordingly
What should I wear?
Madeira’s weather can change throughout the day, so comfortable layers are best. For sunrises, a warm jacket is essential. For hikes and levadas, bring waterproof shoes or a change of footwear, and a raincoat if you have one. If your tour includes beach time, don’t forget a swimsuit—we’ll have a towel for you. Of course, what you need depends on the season and your chosen stops, so we’ll let you know exactly what to bring after your booking
